Terms & Conditions of Promotion
  1. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of and agreement with these Terms of Promotion.
  2. The Promotion is valid only for MasterCard cardholders who are members of the Starwood Preferred Guest® Program (“SPG Members”) and who have registered for the Promotion.
  3. If not already an SPG Member, you can join for free at www.spg.com/mastercard2days or enroll at the time of making your first eligible room booking either via the nearest Customer Contact Centre or the hotel directly.
  4. Membership in the Starwood Preferred Guest® Program (“SPG Program”) is governed by terms and conditions of the SPG Program which can be found at www.spg.com/t&c.
  5. SPG Members must register for this promotion at www.spgmastercard.com/2daysofhappy or by calling the nearest Customer Contact Center and saying “I want to register for 2 days of Happy!” requesting Registration Code “4MC” no later than March 15, 2012.
  6. Eligible nights must be consumed between November 29, 2012 and March 15, 2012 (“Earning Period”).
  7. SPG Members may earn one (1) Free Weekend Night Award after five (5) eligible nights consumed and a second Free Weekend Night Award after and additional four eligible nights consumed (for a total of nine(9) nights) at any hotels and resorts in the SPG Program in Asia Pacific and paid for with a MasterCard during the Earning Period. Nights do not have to be consecutive and can be accumulated across multiple stays. Free Weekend Nights Awards can be redeemed at participating hotels and resorts in the SPG Program in 2011 and 2012 and at hotels in key destinations (“SPG Participating Properties”). A list of SPG Program properties and SPG Participating Properties can be found at www.spg.com/mastercard2days/participating. The list of hotels and resorts in the SPG Program and SPG Participating Properties are subject to change without notice.
  8. A maximum of two (2) Free Weekend Nights Awards can be earned.
  9. An eligible night is defined as a night consumed at a participating SPG Program property between November 29, 2011 and March 15, 2012 (“Earning Period”) inclusive, regardless of the number of check-ins or check-outs that occur, paying an Eligible Rate and settled with a MasterCard, and posted to the SPG Member's account.
  10. An Eligible Rate is any rate that is eligible to earn Starpoints in the SPG Program. Definition of Eligible Rates can be found at www.spg.com/t&c under section 4B.4.
  11. Multiple rooms charged to the same SPG Member during the same night stay will only count as one night stay.
  12. Free Weekend Nights Awards may be redeemed by contacting the Customer Contact Center and mentioning award ID 4MCFN. An earned Free Weekend Night Award can be redeemed for a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night for a future stay at 100 SPG Participating Properties in Asia Pacific between January 1, 2012 and April 10, 2012. A list of SPG Participating Properties available for award redemption can be found at www.spg.com/mastercard2days/participating.
  13. Free Weekend Nights Awards are valid only for stays including a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night between January 1, 2012 and April 10, 2012, in a single or double occupancy standard room, and includes the cost of the hotel room and room tax only. Other hotel charges, service charges and other applicable taxes (other than the room rate and the room tax) are the responsibility of the SPG Member and are not covered by the Free Weekend Nights Awards.
  14. The Free Weekend Nights Award is subject to availability of hotel standard rooms at time of reservation.
  15. No refund will be given for any unused portion of the Free Weekend Nights Award. The Free Weekend Nights Award will be available within 72 hours of the fifth (5th) and ninth (9th) eligible nights posting to the SPG Member’s account during the Earning Period. SPG Members will not automatically be notified of the availability of the Free Weekend Nights Award, but earned awards can be seen on the member’s account online at www.spg.com under Earned Awards
  16. The Free Weekend Nights Award is not transferable even among members of the same household and may not be given as a gift.
  17. Advance reservations for the Free Weekend Nights Award stays are required. All Free Weekend Nights Awards reservations must be made directly through a Starwood Customer Contact Center.
  18. SPG Members must mention “I want to redeem 2 days of Happy!” or quote Award Redemption Code “4MCFN” when calling to redeem the Free Weekend Nights Award.
  19. Full payment for all services, including food & beverage etc. incurred by SPG Members at the SPG Program hotels and resorts during the five (5) or nine (9) eligible nights as well as during the Free Weekend Nights Award stays must be made using a MasterCard card.
  20. The Promotion is subject to the Starwood Preferred Guest program terms and conditions. The Starwood Preferred Guest program terms and conditions and these Terms of Promotion can be found at www.spg.com/mastercard2days/tc and subject to applicable laws, are subject to change without notice.
  21. Void where prohibited by law and all conditions, warranties or other terms implied by law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
